That's what I wondered. "Wait. What? Kagy?!" Last I recall, he was held together with duct tape an popsicle sticks, and he was killing it. It should be interesting to see him ride.

If you still have that lid when I'm at the Loops Spring T'ripper, I might take it off your hands, AJ. Aside, if you know any one looking for a Trek Remedy 9.7, I'm selling mine. It's been ridden 7 times in total. Cheers, ol' man!

epavichthesavage...I agree entirely. K.I.S.S. "...clusterf**k of crazy fluorescent colours" -- that made me laugh; thank you for that.

Remedy talk. I borrowed a Fox 36, and I tried it last night with Reg Mullett. Helmet mounted lights. We hiked up about 2000 feet in the snow using mini crampons. Bombed down. The top section and the conditions demanded use of the awesome tripod technique -- point, slide and steer, and hang one for the fun. So sweet. Riding and sliding in snow is not the best test to see how the 36 feels on the Remedy, but my initial reaction is this -- very nice indeed. The 32 and the 68 degree head angle, together, was a bit too XC oriented for my liking; I'm all about going downhill, so I won't mind the added weight and the slight drawback while climbing. Plus, I want to be able to fling myself off stuff. The Remedy-with-a-36 is in between the Remedy-with-a-32 and the Slash. I may be keeping the bike. Aside, how are you doing? How is your injury? Are you going to be riding Frisbie with me this year or what, ol' cock?

Leave it white and minimalist. K.I.S.S. pretty much always works.

I know it's not the same as the Double, but I do recall a sh!t-load of negative comments posted about the Bottlerocket. There are obvious - and undeniable - similarities between this and the Bottlerocket, and (perhaps because it's a new frame) I don't see anywhere near as many here comments shooting down the Double. So, what's with the double-standard, so to speak? Why p!ss all over the Bottlerocket, then shower the Double with praise?

well the work great and ride great but i crack mine by putting a 160mm on the front so just if you get one stick to the geometry

Roger, and she only had a season of use, that's barely warmed up at best... My puny little air shocks are lasting for seasons!

I think a driver 8 shock is 8.75 X 2.75. So a bit different size.
